In January 2026, Arya Transfo Industrial Group hosted the unveiling ceremony of the largest electric arc furnace transformer manufactured in Iran, together with its dedicated series reactor and a domestically manufactured ladle furnace transformer.
The ceremony, held at Arya Transfo Industrial Group’s manufacturing facilities, was attended by the Governor of Semnan Province, the Chairman of the Economic Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of The Islamic Republic of Iran, chairman of the Iranian Steel Producers Association, the Member of Parliament representing Semnan, Mehdishahr and Sorkheh, the First Vice President of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, as well as senior government officials and leading executives from Iran’s steel and power industries.

These transformers incorporate unique design features and have been manufactured by Arya transfo Industrial Group through technology transfer and under the supervision of C.E.M Industrial Transformers, Italy, a company specialized in the design and manufacturing supervision of industrial transformers. EAF transformers are among the most critical assets in steelmaking plants. Accordingly, specialized design, engineering, and manufacturing technologies are required to ensure reliable long-term performance under severe mechanical, dielectric, and thermal stresses. The operating duty cycle of these transformers subjects them to demanding service conditions.
